Cycleai

Guide

Everything on Cycleai is designed to work from the first message, but a few habits make conversations noticeably better. This guide takes about four minutes to read.

1. Choose by mood, not by picture

The portraits are there to make each character memorable, but the personality description is what actually determines how a conversation feels. If you want to be listened to, start with Selvinka or Ilvana. If you want energy, start with Kalindra or Solvinha. If you want to be challenged, start with Zainara or Taviera.

2. Open with something real

A first message like hi works, but it makes the character do all the work. One concrete detail, even a boring one, gives them something to hold on to and the conversation finds its footing much faster.

3. Say what you want from the session

Telling a character that you want to vent, or to be distracted, or to plan something, changes their approach immediately. It is not a command you have to phrase carefully; a plain sentence is enough.

4. Let stories run across sessions

For collaborative fiction, give the character a setting, a mood and one constraint, then let them build. Eirwenna is written specifically for this. A short recap at the start of a later session brings the whole thread back into focus.

5. Push back

If a reply is off, say so. The characters on Cycleai respond well to correction and adjust their register quickly. Sessions improve fastest for people who treat the conversation as something they are steering.

6. Keep two or three regulars

Most long-term visitors settle on a small rotation rather than one favourite, because different days want different company. Switching costs nothing.

7. Know the boundaries

Conversations stay non-explicit, the characters are fictional, and nothing said in a chat is professional advice. Within those limits there is a lot of room, and the more specific you are, the more you get back.
